| Coming into town from the west: Hwy 17N, 421S, 74E, 76E (Leland, Southport, Holden Beach, Long Beach, Ocean Isle, Myrtle Beach...) All of these roads come into Wilmington together over the Cape Fear River Bridge. After you cross the bridge, stay straight on Dawson St. After a few stop lights, the two right lanes will bear off to the right and become Oleander Dr. Stay straight on Oleander Dr. for approximately 5 miles. After passing Bradley Creek bridge, the next intersection with be with Wrightsville Ave. on the left and Airle on the right. Go through this intersection and bear immediately to the right on to Wrightsville Avenue. After the ABC store, on the right is the Galleria Shopping Center. Aquatic Safaris is leftmost shop. |
| Coming into town from the northeast: Hwy 17S (Surf City, Jacksonville, Topsail, Hampstead) As you are coming into Wilmington from the north, you go through Ogden. Just after Ogden, you need to look for a green sign above the road pointing left on Military Cutoff (or for Wrightsville Beach) Take the left, and continue down Military Cutoff. After the intersection with Eastwood Dr, turn left at the first light (across from Centry 21). Hang a left onto Wrightsville Ave. After the ABC store, on the right is the Galleria Shopping Center. Aquatic Safaris is the leftmost shop. |
| Coming into town from the north: I-40E (Raleigh, Burgaw, Wallace) When you are coming into Wilmington, I-40 will turn into College Rd. The first major intersection is with MLK Blvd. Turn left towards Wrightsville Beach. Cross over Market St. onto Eastwood Dr.(US74) Follow Eastwood Dr until the intersection with Military Cuttoff (McDonalds on the right). Turn right, then turn left at the first light (across from Centry 21). Hang a left onto Wrightsville Ave. After the ABC store, on the right is the Galleria Shopping Center. Aquatic Safaris is the leftmost shop. |
| Coming into town from the south: Hwy 132 (Carolina Beach, Kure Beach) As you enter Wilmington on Hwy 132, you will come to a major intersection with Oleander Dr. Take a right on Oleander Dr. Stay straight on Oleander Dr. for approximately 5 miles. After passing Bradley Creek bridge, the next intersection with be with Wrightsville Ave. on the left and Airle on the right. Go through this intersection and bear immediately to the right on to Wrightsville Avenue. After the ABC store, on the right is the Galleria Shopping Center. Aquatic Safaris is the leftmost shop. |
