| RULES: 1) No Powerheads permitted, all fish must be taken by spear tip 2) There is no longer any checkout for boats, only check in at the marina to weigh fish 3) All Individuals must be checked in with dock official at the Bridge Tender Marina between 3:00- 6:30pm- no late boats may weigh fish for that day 4) All entries must be received at Aquatic Safaris prior to the start of the Captain's meeting Thursday night- no late entries will be allowed 5) All fish weighed may be inspected by a marine biologist for evidence of hook and line capture- evidence thereof will result in disqualification of boat for entire tournament 6) Entry by person - $50.00, includes Spearfishing T-shirt. 7) Only one fish per person per category may be weighed in each day 8) Top two fish in each of the following categories will win percentage prizes (12% and 5%) based on the number of entries: 1) Grouper, 2)Flounder, 3)Snapper (includes Hog Snapper) 4)Sheephead, 5)Bluewater (Cobia, Kings, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Pompano) 9) The overall biggest fish will win 15% of total purse 10) Any fish entered in the individual categories are automatically eligible for the overall biggest fish category 11) Prizes will be awarded Sunday evening at termination of tournament 12) No blowout 13) Any prizes not claimed will be given away in a drawing, all boats are automatically entered 14) Any congregating of boats, trading of fish or materials between boats or individuals during tournament hours will result in automatic disqualification for entire tournament 15) Switching boats is now allowed durning the tournament |
